Afton Norman is a Jr. Accountant for Woodtone. Her favorite part of her job is how personable everyone is and Carmen, the amazing chef! An interesting skill that Afton has acquired is that she can make wine disappear! She also has a black belt in karate. Her hobby is baking, which she enjoys doing with her four-year-old daughter. She also has a thirty-four-year-old man child (husband) and an eleven-year-old lab at home. Her favorite part about living in the Fraser Valley is the mountains and all the outdoor activities accessible to her!
Amy Malcolmson is the Marketing Communications Manager for Woodtone. She brings a positive attitude to the workplace, and can commonly be found researching, branding, brainstorming and making things pretty! Outside of work, Amy polishes off an impressive three novels a month. She also enjoys hiking, crafting, and red wine! Amy lives with her husband and deaf kitty, Mazy in the Fraser Valley where she is a fan of the people, unique shops and stunning views.
Ashley Elford is the Creative Coordinator at Woodtone. She attended The University of the Fraser Valley for Graphic and Digital Design, graduating with her diploma in 2015. Ashley enjoys working closely with the Sales and Marketing team and can be found designing, photographing and keeping up the social media for Woodtone. Outside of work, Ashley is usually with her rescue pitbull, Bucky! The duo enjoys living in the Fraser Valley; camping, walking trails and going to the lake.
Ben Good is the Director of Sales for Woodtone and has been with the company since 2006. His biggest strength is positivity. He believes there is no issue or challenge that Woodtone can’t overcome for its customers and business. He understands the balance and needs of both Woodtone and its customers to deliver great partnerships. Some may not know that Ben has experience as a competitive BBQ pitmaster! He has competed across the Pacific Northwest and Canada in competition BBQ events! He also has two young sons, and a cat named Fluffy (he swears it was already named when they got him!) Ben has grown up living in every Province in Canada and believes there is no better place than the Fraser Valley.
Brad Ellis is a Millwright at Woodtone and brings a positive attitude and general knowledge of multiple trades to the job. His duties include general repairs on the process equipment, installation of new machinery, welding and fabrication. He enjoys the team environment and being provided breakfast and lunch by the amazing chef Carmen. His favorite pastime is sturgeon fishing in the endless beauty of the Fraser Valley. Brad has three children in his brood, but his only pet is a rock with googly eyes.
Brad Rosse is the President of Woodtone. His godfather opened the business in 1977 and his father had a 30-year career with the company. Brad wanted to be apart of the team because his father never once complained about his job. Daily, Brad can be found talking strategy, opportunities and challenges. Meeting with people, inspiring and supporting the team. He cares about the people he works with, and about the future of Woodtone. When he is away from the office, Brad can be found spending time with his four children (all named after Major League baseball players!) on the sports field 7 days a week. He also loves to golf and tell stories with friends. Brad grew up in the Fraser Valley and had an amazing childhood building long-lasting friendships in the area, and he hopes his kids can do the same!
Brad Willard works in Order Management for Woodtone. He has been with the company for seven years! He appreciates the community involvement and the culture of the company. Brad keeps busy with hobbies such as baseball and volleyball. He also spends his time driving his two children to their various sports practices and games. He enjoys life in the scenic landscape of the Fraser Valley with his family and two cats, Roxie and Oatmeal.
Brian McLean is the Quality Control lead at Woodtone in Chilliwack. He was born and raised in Saskatchewan (Go Riders!), but after spending his first winter in the lower mainland attending BCIT, he decided rain was much better than snow. If he could have one superpower it would be the ability to remember where he left his glasses! Outside of work, Brian likes to play golf and spend time at Allouette lake with his wife and son on the boat relaxing.
Bryan Payne is the BC Regional Manager for Woodtone. Something he feels that Woodtone does differently is creating an untouchable culture within, and a customer first sales strategy. Bryan has been with the company for six years and can be found pricing, quoting, and talking to customers. If Bryan didn’t work at Woodtone, he would like to be a country singer! Outside of work Bryan can be found golfing, dining out, and spending time with his family. He has a baby son and two pets!
